That's basically saying deterrents don't work... and while I agree to an extent, then why do we have prisons, laws and punishments? There's still crime in existence so clearly they're not effective deterrents.

And let's be real... the majority of our gun crime can be traced back to the US and their lack of common sense gun control... but our border security on our side is a joke. We can't even be bothered to stop people from walking into the country let alone do the work to stop the flow of illegal firearms.

Your are far from correct with your comment. November 20,2021 my 16 year old son went through a home invasion from 5 men. He was able to leave his room armed with a shotgun, and fight the fuckers off out of the house. My home was shot to but that's a small price to pay for his safety. You need to post your statistics of how you're more likely to be injured by your gun at home.
