True religion or spiritual practices should expand your mind bringing you closer to the realization of the infinite potential the universe and you ( the mini universe ) has. Not doing the opposite which is what most religions tend to do . You shouldn’t feel limited you should feel limitless like the universe . Should be coming closer to your connection to the infinite.
