People keep asking for alternatives to Etsy and I’m just gonna say I don’t think a marketplace is going to meet the needs of shoppers the way Etsy used to. I think a vetted directory of artisans, pointing you to their websites/stores makes a lot more sense. It would need to be community-based and operated and not run for a profit.
