I’m not teaching anymore, but I’m coaching/managing a gymnastics/tumbling place. I’m trying to channel my favorite teachers, principals, and coaches as I lead and manage. One day my oldest son said, “I know why you like teaching private lessons so much. You get to give each child attention like you always wanted to do when you were teaching.” 🥹🥹🥹

Completed 4 courses of my MA in TESL. One more to go!

2024 was a fight to heal and grow: I successfully advocated for my health by asking for HRT for my menopause symptoms. I refused to fawn and forgive an abusive family member in spite of a lot of pressure. I started subbing, which has healed a little piece of my heart. Children are magic. I began writing my first fiction story. Writing is fun again!

Survived my first year without my son in it as we lost him in April 2023 at the age of 20. We were able to give a scholarship to a graduating Senior from his high school through their booster club. I am healing, but I miss him every day.
