For how long? Does the 11 year old have a phone? For 30 minutes to an hour, fine, if you’re running an errand close to home. If it’s longer or you’re further away, imagine there’s a fire at your house and the police and fire dept show up while you’re away. Do you feel guilty, rolling up to the house or not? If you don’t feel great about that then I wouldn’t risk it.
