If Saquon breaks ED’s rushing record over 17 games. I believe it’s still valid. Present day offense is pass heavy taking away opportunities. The era ED played in offense was run heavy. SB has 2,005 on 345 attempts. ED had 379 attempts to get that 2,105. Both seasons amazing. Both seasons legit.

So it was easier to stop the run back then because you didn’t have to worry about the pass game. It’s hard to stack the box in today’s league especially with an offense like Philly because then you have AJ and Smith on the outside 1 on 1
