Accepting the fact that trans women are women does not in any way, shape, nor form change nor diminish my own experience as a woman. I dare say it’s done the opposite: Embracing women with journeys different from my own has broadened and deepened my understanding of what it really means to be a woman and I am so grateful for that. No one is ‘erasing’ anyone else by being honest about who they are. That’s not how humanity works. That’s not how any of this works. There’s room for all of us.
