Really? Because people I know who’ve used the app use it to save money instead of paying for hotels while they’re travelling. They spend the day sightseeing and are only home for dinner and bed, so they’re not at the home 100% of the time. Might be fine for a cat but definitely not for dogs.

I’ve used three times and all great experiences. The first time I was away for a month with my elderly dog and younger ones were home. The sitters were a retired German couple who lived in Canada and appreciated January in southern Arizona

I have a friend who does this all over the United States. She kept our dogs (3) for a week. Started doing this after she became widowed. She said it’s an affordable way to see the country.

We are currently on our first sit. We are in Canada and our sit is several provinces away. We have structured our days so the least we are away from our new best friend is 3 hours a day max. We go for 2 big walks a day. We are with Trusted Housesitters.
