Universal basic income has been tried, on small scales, and it just doesn’t work. Humans will be less productive if they are given the money and did not earn it. Basic human psychology.

Yes, “wealth” is a construct of our imagination. It’s just numbers on a balance sheet. You cant eat it, live in it, drive it, etc.. its goods/services (which are finite and scarce) that defines quality of life. Distributing imaginary numbers (wealth) does not bring more of these into existence
