I can’t help but feel deeply disappointed by the mindset that suggests individuals who self-diagnose with ASD somehow less deserving of understanding and support. It’s incredibly disheartening to see people questioning the validity of others experiences simply because they lack a FORMAL diagnosis. Asking someone about their diagnosis is not only invasive but also dismissive of their personal journey.
