This is possibly TMI but after a childhood of patriarchal training & emotional neglect, & a young adulthood of looking for love in ALL the wrong places & a couple of marriages, neither of which were kind, & a boss who was harsh, then spending the last 3 or 4 years, standing up to some things & leaving other things & building a life for me that is safe, all of the sudden my gut issues are gone & after 6 decades of distinctly painful struggle my innards work like clock work. *grins* Sorry.
