For those following, I think this is the end of this chapter of my life. And I'm ok with it. We talked. I now know that there was massive miscommunication between us. He made lots of assumptions I wish he hadn’t. He never brought them up to me when I was there. I made mistakes, too. I guess that’s that. Having answers is better than zero answers. I am grateful for that. Right now, I feel better about it. I hope it lasts. Please don't wish me a happy new year :-) I am not ready for that yet.
