My son said, “We’re halfway through the decade,” and I thought, “Wow, I’m gonna be 50 when this decade is over.” For some folks, 50 would frighten them, but not me. A lot of my friends and associates who were either around my age, slightly younger, or slightly older didn’t make it past 40. Lord willing, I’ll be blessed enough to carry the torch for them.
