Maybe it's because I'm an introvert, but I'm a fan of placing my food order through an app then picking it up. In most cases, the app allows me to customize my order as much as I want without being rushed or dealing with an exasperated, underpaid order taker. I also have a record of my order in case it's questioned later.

So I order a meal and get like bacon on my burger, or a shake, the app doesn’t know they’re out of bacon or that the ice cream machine is down, and then I don’t know until I get there. When I talk to someone real I can get that info.
