A photographer posted that this year they will be more “deliberate and disciplined” in their photography this year by shooting less and focusing more (with their MF film camera of course). While I’m not going to tell anyone how to engage with their art, I think that’s a… how do I say this politely… a less than productive idea. How about instead of applying some military orderliness to our work, we instead focus on becoming more creative? How about we play more and kick aside limitations? 1/4
