I have lived on my street for 29 years, the longest of anyone of 28 homes. I always make it a point when new neighbors are moving in to go talk to them welcome them and offer them a chance to borrow anything if they need something that they can't find because of the chaos of moving. We have had many block parties at different homes over these 29 years.
