Yarn lovers question: My goal for the New Year is to get my yarn stash organized. To that end I’ve gotten a 3 door armoire (still needs to get put together) and ordered a yarn caker, thinking that cakes would be easier to store. I just got to thinking, how do you keep track of what yarn is what without the labels? There must be some easy way I’m not seeing. HELP!!!

4 小時內	mcginnisjudy	I keep track of my stash on ravelry. Photo of yarn, photo of label and details of number of skeins. Really handy to track exactly what you have.
13 小時內	Kaila Evans kailagenevieve	I only cale my leftovers when the skeins are otherqise falling apart and those tend to go in fabric or plastic bins versus my shelving. I either shove the folded label down the middle or attach it to a loop that I run theough the middle of the cake.
