My school is starting a new reading intervention this month. But classroom teachers have been told absolutely nothing about what it entails. We don’t know anything other than what time of day it will happen (upending other required things we already had scheduled). We don’t know what materials will be used, what our role is, what we should prepare or plan for, nothing. Nada. This is the kind of ridiculous stuff that makes teachers leave.
