I've always thought women were the most gorgeous the very first thing in the morning: hair wildly tangled, bare skin showing every freckle and blemish, eyes puffy, lips dry, morning breath, and her too groggy to show an effort into "hiding" herself from the world as she's so accustomed to doing. But I never knew why or where that came from.
I do now. It's that it's just her. She's completely vulnerable, unfiltered, and grounded in that moment. And in this moment, she's perfect.
