Basically it would destroy the game loop. Just think how gen 2 level progression was split in 2. With the first elite 4 being lvl 40-50. Imagine that but divided by 9 gens. All kanto being lvl 1 to 10?

23 分鐘內	A Gamer’s Basement a_gamers_basement	That’s valid, but I’m sure they could think of some mechanic. Like, perhaps at the start of each new region, you couldn’t battle with your pokemon from the previous region. Similar to how Ash does in the show?
