Mum spent half the day sulking and crying and dad was sent out on a long walk with the dog while my sisters and I made a start on the roast chicken. Every Christmas after that one we helped dad choose something good. 2/2

It had diamond chips all around it so it couldn't be stretched. Dad got her a new ring with her birthstone and diamonds made like a tiny bracelet that opened in the back so it didn't have to go over her knuckles. Took months to find someone who could do it. She was wearing it when she died.
