I guess rejecting xtianity on the basis of the followers one has met is valid, but why not reject it on its face because its claims are ridiculous? Anybody who approaches the text without presuppositions can easily prove to themselves that the Goat Herder's Guide to the Galaxy is an insightful journey into the thinking of the people who wrote it and that's it. There's no there there.
