I’ve been there.. after i study more about Islam now i didnt feel oppressed anymore. Sometime we need to know why we have to obey and u just need to search it to save yourself from feel distant to deen. Coz we live in dunya where itself was a prison for a beliver and heaven for nonbelievers. I hold to these word “U wont love it if u dont know it”. Wish u the best and hoping u would get help. Amiin.
