hm. this is a tad difficult for me because i love jessica & simon, and their dynamic in the beginning, but i LOATHE most of the newer runs. anything after rebirth in 2005 gives me a huge ick because of one of the worst retcons of all time (thanks, g. johns, looking at you), a couple real cringey storylines, and some pretty bad characterization. even now, it seems like simon and jessica often get ignored or written out of potential plots and they aren't even working together much.
