I am convinced college football will have massive restructuring with both equal sharing of TV money and geographically-logical conferences. In the east that will mean Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland will leave Big Ten for a new Big East. Penn State Pitt West Virginia Boston College Syracuse Maryland UConn Virginia Tech Rutgers Cincinnati Temple Louisville ? ?

PSU is academically aligned with the B1G schools, all of which are major research/academic institutions that happen to also have excellent athletic programs. And if PSU stays, so do Rutgers and Maryland. Not happening.
