I’ve officially eaten the most intense, and unfortunately gross flavored food (for my palatte) for the entire year. It was a prepackaged mung bean, aged egg yolk, and durian pastry thing I got at Mekong Supermarket. Tasted like the most intense, sulfuric egg farts with a strange metallic mango flavor backed up by savory, umami rich bean notes all wrapped up in a sweet bun. My mouth tasted like egg farts for longer than I’d care to admit. Maybe this would be better fresh?
