504 plans don't help or assist kids with ADHD that also have cognitive impairment. News flash you can be gifted and still have a learning disorder. No amount of frequent breaks or sitting in front of the classroom is going to make them suddenly grasp a subject they don't have the ability to process. Please stop telling me about what's best for a kid you have NEVER met and know absolutely nothing about. Thanks ADHD

12 小時內	Konor Copeland konorcopeland	504 plans are meant to address behavioral issues so I’m not sure why people would recommend that over an IEP. Even then that doesn’t mean the plan will be beneficial. If you’re using ineffective strategies then the plan means nothing. It’s annoying when people and schools think that just having a plan is enough. The important part is the child, what they need, and what helps them. If that’s not being addressed it’s a disingenuous waste of time, energy, and at times sanity.
