I spoke with a patient yesterday who mentioned that she’s getting “Obamacare or Affordable insurance”. She said it all confuses her because she doesn’t know the difference. I was glad to inform her that Obamacare is an alternative name for the Affordable Care Act and that they are the same 🙂. Context: She will need to update her insurance information for the new year for an upcoming procedure.
