My nearly-11yo AuDHD son has "watch more news" as one of his New Year's resolutions, any suggestions for age appropriate, preferably liberal-leaning sources that a bright neurospicy kid might like?

3 小時內	Ian Koehler vapid_trash	AP is solid and reasonably unbiased; it might be a little dense for kids, though. NPR can definitely lean into talking head territory, but they do have a lot of kid friendly stuff. Given that the most trusted news source in the US is the Weather Channel, you might throw that out there for him lol

11 小時內	Doug sleepy__alpaca	In Australia we've had "Behind The News" since the late 1960s which is designed for kids aged 10+ I'm not sure if it's available internationally or not though - https://www.abc.net.au/btn We also have an online-only news outlet called "6News Australia" which was started by an 11 year old in 2019 and is completely run by young people.
