Bittersweet feelings this Wednesday morning—it’s hard to put into words. I’m on my way home, back to the life I’ve built with my husband. It’s ours—our rules, our dynamics—and it brings me so much peace every day. Still, leaving my parents’ house always tugs at my heart. I can’t wait to be home, but I miss my family deeply every single day.
