Depends on what you like about her work. Her style is very similar, in a broad sense, to many scifi writers from the 50s-80s. Just beyond careful because this period was wrought with moronic prejudice by male writers. Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land would be a good example of this similarity. Many books by him, actually. Love this one. If you like Left Hand of Darkness because of its gender commentary, specifically; try Ann Leckie's Ancillary Justice series. It's more modern. Very good.

I recently asked this as Le Guin is my boyfriend's favorite author and I wanted to pick him up some new books for the holidays. What I ended up getting was The Sentence by Gautam Bhatia. I also picked up Three Body Problem but that was a recommendation for science fiction and world-building in general.

Sofia Samatar! Like Ursula K Le Guin, her fantasy and science fiction is intellectually engaging and emotionally intelligent, and her prose is lyrical without being florid
