As much as I enjoy Camus & DFW, hot take: Susie Side is for people who have never read Boethius, don’t believe in Gawd, &/or can’t handle a reversal of fortune. Adversity can make you tough or make you snap. Minorities from working class backgrounds often suffered forms of discrimination & don’t have the luxury of an existential crisis ending w/ Sue inside. Bigger fish to fry than fretting about Truth. Believe in (your) Gawd, listen to some inspirational divas sing, get a therapist, & keep on.

I think when you set up a sentence with "the literal meaning of life" you are setting yourself up for a fall. Maybe that's the literal meaning of life.
