I am grateful for the painful parts this year. “Comfortable” makes us feel safe. It’s predictable. The familiarity of comfort offers a sense of security, even if it’s not fulfilling. Comfort is the illusion of contentment. It stems from fear of what’s on the other side. If you want to live an extraordinary life in 2025, don’t get too comfortable.
