I was talking to a producer friend of mine (@kidkonnect) on the phone and out of sympathy he offered to send me a beat to write to and express myself. The beat was so soulful and emotional. I found myself trying not to cry, writing a letter to Oscar Grant's daughter, Tatiana; something she could maybe hear one day and try to make sense of her father's death. I recorded it and sent it back to my friend.
