Well there is reason to separate one's self that does primarily originals from say a cover band, but there is never any need for it to cross over into being mean about it or rude. Everyone is doing there thing. Let's normalize being able to say something is good or talented but you may not like it. Rather than saying it sucks or is no good. I don't listen to Taylor Swift because I don't like the music, however that does not mean I think it's bad. I just don't like it.

That is the main reason I created my own band on the DAW back in the day. All though fast forward to now the power of digital music made all those snobs fall off and NOW they wish they had been chill enough for collaboration because they got beaten as a solo artist by several new genres made on laptops 🤣
