When you live in Asia, visiting Germany can feel like stepping back in time—especially when you're confronted with the painfully slow internet speeds.

Where are you? Public Internet is usually slow, but private internet mostly depends on how much you want to pay. If that mobile Internet, maybe you should go to one of the beautiful lakes nearby or enjoy some of the other nature in Brandenburg.

As an Aussie living in Germany, I can vouch that the Internet can be terrible here, comparatively. I can get a signal for my mobile data in the middle of a shopping centre or IKEA in Australia... but almost no chance of getting it here in Germany. That said, the Germans have killer bread and potatoes.

Go to Czechia instead. We have Faster internet and we have much safer country and unlike Germany, almost every where you can pay by a card. I do not use cash for like 7 years 🤷
