Quentin Tarantino said a few years back “I love my movies, I’m making them for me. Everybody else is invited”. I wish more filmmakers and musicians followed that statement. Make your art for you. Don’t follow trends, don’t make your art based on what you think other people will like. Make what you wanna see and hear. Be a fan of your own art first, then others will follow. If you don’t love what you’re doing, why are you even doing it?
