One day when I was living in old town Alexandria I had on a shirt that said “love dc gogo” I walked past a girl and she said your shirt makes me miss home so much. I said girl we can see dc from where we are standing JUST GO OVER THERE!!!! but the way she said it was like DC was hours away… ma’am take the 10 minute drive to DC please 😂😂😂

Absolutely it is. You are dealing with additional traffic, Virginia drivers and cops, a terrible highway system, potholes, car jackers, and that’s just during the day time.

To be fair some of DC natives like to be a lil dramatic. We joke that you have to have a passport and take a plane to get to Waldorf, MD but at the same time will drive to Baltimore to go to a concert or just a restaurant 😂😂😂

It’s not automatically long distance but 15 miles away can be close to an hour drive at times. And if one of you is careless it’s exhausting! LOL

Anybody afraid or apprehensive about going over that bridge is immature. People do what they want to do, that distance isn't far if you really want to see if the relationship is worth it. If they don't, you have your answer.
