Love this idea! I love seeing the person I'm reading about, but when did we start to need legit photoshoots? I hate to call it self absorbed because I think what probably happened is someone did one once and then people decided, "Oh, I need to do that I guess". So I think for most people it's coming from a place of, "This is how I make my business look professional", but at the same time, it doesn't usually look real. And to me, real is more important.

Copywriter here! 👋 I get what you’re saying, but pics of me working aren’t exactly attractive/exciting, and my work isn’t visual, so my portfolio isn’t attractive either. Feels like interesting pics of me is the only option. 🤷‍♀️

Please expand! I hate taking pictures and as a service provider I don’t feel like the luxury aesthetic is what I’m trying to portray. I get the fucking work done. How do I say that with photos? lol I’m taking recommendations at this point because I’m lost!
