i swear depression gives you brain damage. no cap. like i feel like i’ve lost so much brain capacity after the really really bad depressive episodes i’ve had in the past few years. my memory is so so so bad now. i can’t recall shit. i feel so dumb all of the time.

But hear this ,you are not broken and you are not “dumb”. Your brain has carried you through storms it wasn’t built for and that’s strength not weakness. Healing takes time and even if clarity feels far away your scars are proof of survival. You’re building back stronger, wiser and whole.

4 小時內	Casey 818casey	I definitely got better for me! Speaking from personal experience. Turns out my depression was not in fact clinical and was situational. And improving my environment and getting off the brain fog meds worked wonders (for ME, as anecdotal hope, just in case it helps) ❤️‍🩹
