I was wondering recently how come Job got his family and riches back when he complained the whole time, but when Moses struggled with the children of Israel, he couldn’t go into the promised land. Then I realized that not all of us have the same purpose and call. Moses’ call was to rescue the Israelites from slavery and lead them to the promise land, but his attitude and faithlessness kept getting in the way. Jobs only purpose in his trials was to not curse God (and he wasn’t aware of the bet).
