Was reading Nehemiah today, and when he removed Tobiah from the temple. It reminded me of the famous example discussed in sermons, God cleansing the house of God (our very bodies and minds). Nehemiah didn’t leave the storeroom empty, he removed the unclean and restored it with God’s utensils and things that were required for a functioning temple, very much like how we ought to not leave the house swept clean but, fill it with God so that we can function.🥰 JesusThreads
