Lots of angry people in my mentions about my EV post. 😂 like unreasonably upset. Point is, if you don’t have a home charger, dont get an EV. The infrastructure sucks and you will spend a large portion of your time waiting in line for a charge. I have a home charger and I love my EV. Hopefully theyll get it right the next 5 years.

3 小時內	Ben blach	I have at least four friends, maybe 5, that haven’t had an L2 charger. They just trickle charge at home and use a few local destination chargers if they’re available. One of them has two EVs.
3 小時內	Michael Bettencourt bettencourt_michael	Not sure why you don’t want to say you drive a BMW i3 REx model, as it’s still a highly regarded innovative EV, and you described it accurately as having an ‘emergency gas tank’. The angst was due to the sensitive divide between BEV (battery only) vs PHEV (plug-in hybrid) owners. Many BEV fans don’t consider PHEVs ‘real’ EVs. That i3 REx was one of the few EVs that appealed to both sides, bc it clearly used up its entire charge before kicking in its tiny motorcycle engine to generate juice.
