Well friends, I've officially finished Jane Eyre. And with it probably ends my week of threads visibility 😆. Which is a shame because I love talking about stories and I've loved even more having people listen and reply!

I just saw someone post about Mansfield Park and as that is my favorite Austen and I have so many thoughts about it... Maybe that's what I'll read next

I enjoyed reading the two threads of yours I saw about Jane Eyre. It’s one of my favorite books of all time, and I really appreciate it when other people are thoughtfully engaging with it.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your take on it and you’ve inspired me to add to my TBR for a reread as I last read it 15 years ago!

I have enjoyed your literary critiques. I haven’t read it since I was 17, but it’s still one of my favorites. I think I need to reread it! If you haven’t read Wild, Beautiful, and Free, it is a Jane Eyre-inspired story set during the American Civil War. It is excellent!

Frankenstein - it is so good and heartbreaking. I get angry at dr. Frankenstein ever time and want to throw the book across the room, but anything that illicits that much emotion is worth it.
