Glad the early forecast of, "Houston will be in the single digits by the 2nd week of January" calmed down. I'm originally from Wisconsin and lived in Iowa. Winter in Texas puts the fear of no power for two days, ice inside my windows, crying when a food truck serves you a hot meal, and praying you don't catch hypothermia because you're layered up in a 40° house and about to sleep for the night. I would take -20° in IA or WI over 30° in Texas every day and twice on Sundays. 😂
