so true!! i noticed this in myself too, and i ended up choosing to adjust by packing some of my behaviors even more full of things that work for me. partly out of stubbornness, i admit :) like, yes, imperial core, i have a ‘repetitive behavior’ involving beads, it is both a stim and a cultural practice, certain people in my surroundings will dislike and ‘other’ me for it for both reasons. some people also call it praying.
