Abso-fckng-lutely NOT! Then I’ll get tempted to scroll and I’ll never read the damn book. Hell, I got distracted trying to find a reference in a book today and ended up reading mid book for an hour while my work waited impatiently for my return.

I do that all the time actually. Rarely IMO does it spoil anything you couldn't already guess from the synopsis. I don't know, I think it's an interesting way to choose books to read, and to each their own!
