The shooting in Jamaica, Queens was gang related. The club was hosting a private event for a deceased gang member’s birthday & commemoration. Gang-related drive-by shootings are not labeled terrorist attacks because they are not motivated by political or ideological goals, which are central to the definition of terrorism.

Terrorism is the use of violence for political or ideological reasoning, killing a CEO because you appose their insurance policies is terrorism by definition, what happened in queens was a gang shootout, so by definition is not terrorism
