I bought my house in 1983 for around 25k, mortgage £21k salary 7k. 3x salary. Value today £500k. I could not buy this house today on 10x my salary! That's what "trickle down" economics has done. Moved money and wealth from Mr average to the billionaires. Entirely due to Thatcherism and the Tories.
