On the issue of cars being a luxury, because I’ve seen a lot of the same sentiments on ydays post: I would argue a car is not a luxury; a nice car is luxury, but a standard working vehicle is not. But let’s say it is for the sake of finding common ground- If someone works a full time job, no matter what job it is, it should pay enough whereby there is surplus cash after basic human needs are met to afford the luxury that is owning a car, amongst others. Cars can’t just be for the middle class.
